MICHAELA BROOKE GAINES
Brooke Gaines specializes in the thoughtful, deliberate and systematic preparation of horse and rider combinations for competition nationally and locally in hunters, jumpers, and equitation.
Brooke began riding at the age of 8 and quickly developed into a top junior rider and working student for a prominent hunter/jumper operation in her hometown of Chicago, IL.
Brooke came to the Greater Philadelphia area in 2004 to operate as co-owner a successful hunter/jumper training business in Chester Springs, PA. In 2008, she established a sole proprietorship, and chose Worcester Stables as the ideal facility to grow her client base in a superlative environment with first-class amenities that support competitive success.
To create winning teams, Brooke leverages a holistic approach that emphasizes intelligent, insightful management of the horse and prudent, calculated development of the rider. Safety is paramount, and riders who are suitably matched to horses are a hallmark of her program.
At national and local shows, you will find Brooke at in the schooling area and at the in-gate guiding clients such as Madelyn Wojdak and Wizard of Oz, Elizabeth Wojdak and By Design, Deborah Terzian and In the Black, and Sarah Starr and Bettis, to name a few. Several new clients have joined Brooke’s operation and will be appearing at shows throughout the season.
The 2009 show calendar includes the complete Worcester Stables rated schedule, Blue Rock and St. Christopher’s, the State College series, HITS Saugerties, Vermont, and Lexington, as well as select local shows.
